How attached are you to your own unhappiness, and what do you do
when it’s threatened?
No, not at first, when the blush of pleasure makes it’s way into your realm,
but later when the whole table of ritual implements,
those time worn tools and tricks you’ve got to keep your unhappiness
safely in place,
what happens as the table begins to tip, and those old tropes,
which have stood with you thru so many lifetimes,
when they begin to slide floor-ward, seemingly unnecessary,
and put a rather large question toward your day to day assumptions and protections?
What happens when there is a tremor, a minor earthquake, possibly good even?
Do those earthquakes look like boxes, about to lock you in?
As if fear wasn’t prison enough?
Do you rebel against anything that might hold you,
particularly if it’s what you want?
At that moment, when the established stability is threatened,
is it easy to rebuild defenses, stronger than ever?
Clearly it was all about to crash, and therefore NOTHING, absolutely nothing,
must change.
Can you ease up,
look around, notice the shape of your battlements?
Allow awareness of the shadows you cast,
the dimensions of the fears that follow you,
the ones you hold close and pretend are necessity…
Fears as your lovers, can you loosen your grip?
Even as the terrifying prospect of something actually satisfying
moves closer into the realm of your vision.
It’s alright to be wrong, you know.
To be mistaken, take the wrong road, at the wrong moment.
To defend the wrong territory, to muddy the water and have to renew it.
There are so many ways to take a misstep, it’s not the end if you do.
Sometimes the prison and the Open Door keep changing places.
Turn left, turn right! No, the other left!
Give yourself the freedom to get it wrong and make it right,
the generosity to begin again if it’s the other way ’round.
The Full Moon takes place at 28 degrees Aquarius,
with the Moon Conjunct Neptune in Pisces,
Mercury Conjuncts the LEO Sun
A Grand Water Trine: Chiron, Jupiter, and the North Node
and a Cardinal Grand Cross: Venus, Jupiter, Uranus, Pluto.
Oh YES.
we feel it now, and over the weekend, aspects intensify as they apply.
The links between Uranus and Saturn can be found in the post above.
The Space Between them is Aquarius territory,
and Chiron, as a symbol of our successful individuality,
and our individual pain, can be found there as well.
Love YOU!!!

this is so pertinent to my life at present – maybe not surprisingly as this full moon is exactly conjunct my natal sun and chiron. golly gulp. and the pinocchio film still was amazingly profound and deep to me – that i think hit my scorpio moon conjunct neptune very shockingly. very inspired astrology. still scared though…but change is change is change.

Hey Janet,
Thanks for writing! It’s a pretty potent moment. The lights that come up are very bright!
You are right, change is change, and life is change. <3

Hi Louise,
Nice to hear from you! ~So good it becomes uneasy..~ Makes me think of the work involved in trusting you can have what you want… and that what you want, can be a door opening, an ongoing story, rather than a finite door closed. xox
